Job SummaryThe NICU Registered Nurse plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill neonates. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, this nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and respiratory support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomesRequirements
  • One year of recent NICU experience preferred
  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • NRP certificationWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time position in a fast-paced NICU environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a dynamic environment.
