Position: Water Damage Restoration Technician / Project Manager Location: Baton Rouge, LA and surrounding areas United Fire & Water — a locally owned, family-operated restoration company — is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing team as Water Damage Restoration Technicians . Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency calls for residential and commercial water, fire, and mold damage. Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers). Perform demolition and remove water-damaged building materials. Clean and sanitize affected areas using approved antimicrobial solutions. Capture detailed documentation through photos and digital notes (training provided). Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and office staff. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company values and procedures. Ideal Qualifications Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow. Experience in restoration, construction, or maintenance is a plus — but we will train the right person. Must be comfortable using or willing to learn technology , including documentation software (e.g., Xcelerate, Encircle, DocuSketch). Ability to work in physically demanding environments (attics, crawlspaces, wet conditions). Interest in growing into a project management role is a plus. Why Work With Us?
