Job Description:
Drax Group plc, a trailblazer in the energy sector committed to
fostering a zero-carbon future, is looking for a dedicated
Lab/Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. This
role is pivotal in supporting our energy production by assuring the
high quality and compliance of our products and operations. The
successful candidate will engage in rigorous testing and analysis
within our state-of-the-art facilities to uphold and enhance our
standards for safety and efficiency. Conduct chemical and physical
laboratory tests to ensure materials and products meet safety and
quality standards. Collaborate with operations and production teams
to implement quality control measures. Document test results,
prepare reports, and make informed recommendations based on
findings. Maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshooting issues
as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Support the development
of new quality assurance processes and procedures to enhance
productivity and effectiveness. Participate in routine audits and
inspections to ensure compliance with environmental and safety
regulations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and related software
applications. Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and
regulatory requirements. Ability to work independently as well as
part of a team. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Certification as a Quality
Technician from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is
preferred. Relevant health and safety certifications.
