      • 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Name: 4 South located on the South Tower, 4th floor with a Cost Center number of 68373.
        • Number of Beds: 36
        • Patient Ratios: 1:6
        • Unit staffing description: 4 South has 2 stations and uses 2 unit secretaries 0600-2200 daily. Patient care techs are utilized at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending on census.
        • Type of equipment: Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner.
        • Documentation system: Meditech.
        • Floating policy: All nurses float to other units as needed.
        • Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET.
        • Hospital Specifics: Pathways to Excellence Certified, Certified Stroke Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, Level II Trauma Center.
        • Awards/Recognition: HCA Unit of Distinction winner, High Employee Engagement Scores, Quality and Core Measures highly maintained, Many nurses are nationally certified, including unit manager.
