As a Clinical Psychologist, you will perform the following
- Assessing and evaluating the mental health of detainees and
refer to outside treatment facilities if necessary.
- Serving as a mental health consultant to other health
professionals at the facility
- Managing all cases which may involve community treatment
placement, hospital placement, or other after care situations.
- Arranging placement in, or treatment of, detainees in
appropriate settings as required by the conditions of release
outlined by ICE.

the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full
professional work in clinical psychology. NOTE: You must submit a

You must possess an active, current, State license in clinical
psychology from a U.S. State, Territory or District? If answering

For a GS-0180-12, CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST: You must possess at
least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the
GS-11 grade level in the Federal service OR equivalent public or
private sector experience performing the following duties:
- Evaluating, diagnosing and assessing a variety of patients with
mental health disorders; AND
- Applying psychological theories, principles to explain or
justify psychological diagnoses, conclusions, findings or treatment

a Clinical Psychologist preferred.
