Locums Emergency Medicine Physician in Lake Charles, Louisiana - Flexible Scheduling, No Call

This PRN emergency medicine opportunity offers up to five shifts per month with a focus on night and swing coverage. Work in the region's only Level 3 trauma center while maintaining flexibility around your existing schedule.

Practice & Cases

• Emergency department caring for patients of all ages
• Level 3 trauma center with dedicated behavioral health support
• Full scope emergency procedures including airways, central lines, and chest tubes
• Approximately 140 patient visits per 24-hour period

Schedule

• PRN coverage with flexible monthly scheduling
• Up to 5 shifts per month available
• 12-hour weekday shifts and 10-hour weekend shifts
• Night and swing shifts are the primary coverage need

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• ABEM Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Louisiana license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

• Consecutive shifts available for easier travel planning
