working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Lake
Charles, Louisiana, 70601! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of
Emergency Department experience in a level 3 or above trauma center
License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS,
TNCC Must-Have: Experience working in EPIC ASAP Description: We are
seeking Registered Nurses for our Emergency Department. The ideal
candidates will have at least 4-5 years of Emergency Department
experience. Experience in a level 3 or above trauma center is
preferred. Candidates should be knowledgeable in working with the
EPIC ASAP charting system. The following certifications are
required prior to starting: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. NIHSS and
NRP certifications are a plus. Shifts will mostly be mid-shift:
11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, or 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM.
Flexibility to meet departmental needs is essential. Candidates
should be available to start as soon as possible. Preference will
be given to those without any vacation or travel plans during their
contract. Local candidates will be accepted at the same rate.
Travel experience is preferred. Candidates should expect to work
some holidays. We require limited to no requests for time off
during the assignment, particularly in the first two weeks. All
time-off requests must be approved and documented prior to the
start of the assignment. Candidates may be required to float to
other units as needed, with appropriate orientation provided.
Modules are non-billable and recorded through internal training
