Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Post MI care -
Central line care/management - Peripheral line care/management -
Starting IVs - Managing cardiac and vasoactive drips - Wound care
management - Chest tube care Description: The role involves working
in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit. Registered nurses will care
for adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include chest
pain, chronic conditions, and gastrointestinal issues. There will
be expectations to participate in emergency situations as assigned.
Staff may be required to float to other units based on patient
needs. Every other holiday duty may be required. Teamwork with
multiple interdisciplinary support services is essential. The unit
will provide opportunities for a variety of procedures and
equipment usage. Candidates should have a strong understanding of
the required skills and competencies for this role. The work
environment may involve managing urgent care procedures and
processes. Communication and collaboration with healthcare team
members are critical for patient care. Appropriate response to
