Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Cardiac Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday /n• Full-time position (5 days - 8 hours) /n• Weekend requirement: Every third or fourth weekend /n• On-call requirement: As selected in collaboration with other staff /n• No floating requirement between units /n• Nurse-to-patient ratio: One patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs) /n• Care for cardiac catheterization patients including cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR procedures, and device implantations /n• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA /n• RN License in state of employment or compact required /n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred /n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred /n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire /n• Preceptorship with designated trained staff member /n• Complete organizational entry competency validation and department-specific competency validation /n• Provide routine and complex care utilizing nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation /n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness /n• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided /n• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education /n• Temp to perm opportunity available /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility specializes in cardiovascular services and operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory.
