Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Baton Rouge,
Louisiana, 70809! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

- Travel experience required - Previous charge experience preferred
- Patient ratio experience: 6 Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The shift
is during the night, from 18:45 to 07:15. A minimum of 2 years of
experience is required. Travel experience is a must. Candidates
must have previous charge experience preferred. Patient ratio
during shifts is 6 to 1. The candidate must have experience with
charting systems, preferably McKesson. The unit works with various
interdisciplinary support including therapy and respiratory
services. Key skills required include interpretation of
dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, and bowel obstruction
management. Nursing duties will also include care for
colostomy/ileostomy, feeding tube management, renal failure care,
and blood product administration. Candidates will need to manage
peripheral and PICC line care, and be familiar with insulin and PCA
administration. Other responsibilities will include wound care,
maintaining IVs, and oxygen administration. The facility has an
adult patient population with a daily census of approximately 17.
Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital as needed.
