Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Charge capable and willing
to take on charge duties - Orthopedic experience required - EPIC
experience required Description: Please ensure your traveler is
aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting
your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team"
where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until
after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific
details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event,
as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a
position, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your
immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You
should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the
above. Charge experience is required. Experience with total joint
replacements (knees, hips, shoulders), orthopedic spine surgeries,
and other orthopedic surgeries such as tendon repairs and revisions
is necessary. Familiarity with special equipment such as bladder
scanners and Hoyer lifts is expected. Floating to other inpatient
units may be required. Candidates who are first-time travelers are
not accepted. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of
experience in the specialty. RTO greater than two weeks is not
accommodated. This position does not accept local travelers;
candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility. All
necessary certifications and reports must be up-to-date upon
submission. Resources who have previously worked as permanent staff
must have been separated from the facility for one full year before
