Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years required, 5 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Charting system experience Description: This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse with a contract length of 13 weeks. The shift schedule is 5 eight-hour shifts per week plus on-call time. Experience in orthopedic, DaVinci (General), and trauma surgery is required. Candidates are expected to work holidays and adhere to minimum time off requests. Additional skills in ambulatory OR, cardiovascular OR, trauma, general OR, infection control, and universal protocol (time out) are essential. The role involves working with diverse patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Ability to navigate the Epic charting system is preferred. It is important to maintain a low request for time off, especially in the first two weeks of the assignment.
