Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work standard procedure hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as needed /n• Call duties divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend /n• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning /n• Must respond within 30 minutes when called in during off-hours, weekends, and holidays /n• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed /n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of approximately 5 patients /n• Work in single-room unit performing various interventional procedures /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License /n• Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty /n• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted /n• Must live more than 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted) /n• 24-hour orientation program with modules completed during orientation /n• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay until event passes /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts /n• Weekend coverage required with 7 weekend shifts per contract /n• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract /n/n Facility: /n This comprehensive medical center provides advanced interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization services with state-of-the-art equipment including GE Innova IGS systems.
