working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional
Radiology RN in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70816! Job Title:
Interventional Radiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour
Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Interventional
Radiology License: Compact or state license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Competent to perform
conscious sedation - Must be able to monitor and record all
procedures in the Interventional Radiology department - Previous
charge experience is not acceptable Description: Upon accepting the
assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the
RN to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to remain
until after the event passes or be part of the relief team.
Specific details regarding pay will be communicated for each
emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing the travel
contract, the RN agrees to report as assigned by the unit manager
in the event of an emergency. Standard procedure hours are 08:00 to
16:30, but some flexibility will be needed to meet unit demands.
Call is divided equally among team members. Typically, this
involves two nights per week and every other weekend. Call will
cover all hours, including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Weekend on-call includes the expectation of arriving within 30
minutes of notification. If not needed in Interventional Radiology,
there may be a request to assist in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Submission of references is not required for application, but two
managerial or supervisory references will be required to start the
contract. The facility does not accept local travelers; distance
requirements apply. Completion of all required certifications and
NURSYS reports is mandatory before submission. Resources must have
been separated from previous employment with the facility for one
full year before reapplying for travel positions. All modules will
be completed during orientation and will be factored into hours. 5
