About the Position Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical
Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours
per Shift: 8 (06:00 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 5 years strongly
preferred License: Certified Surgical Technologist Certifications:
BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT required Must-Have: Ability to perform a wide
variety of professional services in surgical procedures related to
cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases. Must be a certified surgical
tech. Call will be shared amongst three technicians, starting at
15:00 and ending at 06:00 with one weekend a month. Description:
Performs scrub functions including pulling necessary supplies and
instrumentation. Manages sterile field setup ensuring all sterile
procedures are followed. Ensures necessary equipment is available
and that patient safety is assured at all times. Assists in setup
of the surgical room in combination with the entire team.
Physically and mentally demanding work environment. Call is
required; must be available for weekends, evenings, holidays, and
off-shift hours. Tolerate physically and mentally demanding work.
