Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel General Information • Number of Beds - 2 triage rooms, 10 labor rooms, 2 ORs • Number of Staff - PRN- 16, FT- 22, C/L- 17 • Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 charge nurse, I triage nurse, 6 RNs, 1 scrub tech, 1 secretary o Night Shift - 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 5 RNs, 1 scrub, 1 secretary • Patient Ratios - 1:1, 2:1 depending on acuity • Type of equipment - fetal monitors, IUPC, FSE, fluid warmer, IV pumps, epidural pumps • EMR - CPN, Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • Proficient in starting IVs and drawing labs • Interpret fetal strips • Proficient in vag exams • OB circulator Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Ability to scrub List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • vaginal deliveries • c/sections • amniocentesis • amnioinfusions • IUPC/FSE placement Best personality Fit: • type A- organized and great time management • empathic, caring, and compassionate REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • BLS • ACLS • NRP Floating Area(s): • Closed unit • C/L to postpartum Dress Code : • Scrub Color/Attire - teal scrubs for nursing staff, navy for techs Weekends and On call(if any) • Rotate every other weekend • Possible circulator call About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
