Job Description Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry -
Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Unit Specifics: - Number of
Beds : 36 - Patient Ratios : 1:5/6 - Unit staffing description-
(unit secretaries and tech availability) : 4 South has 2 stations
and uses 2 unit secretaries 0600-2200 daily. We utilize patient
care techs at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending
on census. - Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with
monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers,
iMobile phones, bladder scanner - Documentation system: Meditech -
Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend,
holidays required as well. - Floating policy: All nurses float to
other units as needed. - Patient Experience requirements: Hourly
rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET Hospital
Specifics- - Pathways to Excellence Certified - Certified Stroke
Center - Certified Chest Pain Center - Level II Trauma Center
