Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license –
Mississippi or compact state Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications Permanent
residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility (per travel
nurse requirements) Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
in a hospital or acute care setting Compliance with all healthcare
submission requirements and certifications Med/Surg RN
Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to
medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and
implement patient care plans Monitor, assess, and document patient
conditions and responses to medical treatments Administer
prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures Educate patients
and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health
management Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical
