Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Louisiana. Job

Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: Telemetry
RN Location: Lafayette, LA Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Duration: 13 weeks
Required - 2 years experience. Post cath, cardiac drips, chest
tubes, tele monitoring, CABG required. All candidates must have
strong telemetry experience, specifically the ability to care for
post open heart surgeries, lung surgeries, and titration of cardiac
drips for heart rate/rhythm. Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in
Telemetry acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using
the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act,
ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role
involves effective delegation, direction, and assistance to
licensed and ancillary team members, while assuming accountability
for quality patient outcomes. The RN will exhibit sensitivity to
cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions and
maintain involvement in activities aimed at achieving unit and
departmental strategic goals. The RN demonstrates professional
responsibility and accountability for their own practice and
supports the company's philosophy of nursing. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities /t - Effectively utilize the nursing process in
the delivery of patient care. /t - Assess learning needs and
implement teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient
populations, families, and other disciplines. /t - Communicate,
delegate, and manage nursing team resources (human and fiscal)
effectively, serving as a leader and partner on the
interdisciplinary team. /t - Use data, information, and knowledge
to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes. /t -
Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction,
employee morale, and the improvement of the nursing profession. /t
- Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting
privacy and communication styles. /t - Perform other related duties
as required. Education /t - Required: Registered Nurse diploma. /t
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing. Experience
/t - Required: 2 years of experience, including post-cath, cardiac
drips, chest tubes, telemetry monitoring, and CABG. Certifications
/t - Required:/t /t/t - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of practice. /t/t - Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification from the American Heart Association. /t /t /t -
Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) /t - Proficiency in using computers,
software, and web-based applications. /t - Effective verbal and
written communication skills, with the ability to present
information clearly and professionally. /t - Strong interpersonal
skills. /t - Good organizational and time management skills, with
the ability to be self-directed. /t - Ability to demonstrate good
judgment. Physical and Environmental Demands /t - Heavy Work:
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50
pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force
constantly to move objects. /t - Duties performed routinely require
exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. /t - The incumbent
works in a patient care area and may be exposed to communicable
