Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: --- 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 12 months. --- 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission). --- This role may require floating to additional units and locations --- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live > 50 miles from facility to be submitted.Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Cannot have an employment gap of more than 90 days (regardless of reason) in the past 12 months. Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well. Floating policy: All nurses float to other units as needed. Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET Hospital Specifics- Advanced skills needed: Telemetry rhythm interpretation Procedures performed on unit: PICC line removal, vas cath/temp cath removal Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Ceil Blue Scrubs Hospital hygiene/dress code policy must be followed Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. Highly experienced staff with extensive experience Maximum days off: 10 days 1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission Driver's license required Certifications: --- BLS (Basic Life Support) --- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) --- IV Therapy Certification (Intravenous Therapy Certification) --- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
