Job Summary:

Christus Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Crisis Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Behavioral Crisis Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with clinical staff and providers to support the care of patients with behavioral and mental health needs. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating behavioral health assessments and treatments, as well as responding to urgent or unsafe situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Emergency Department staff to provide comprehensive care to patients with behavioral and mental health needs.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide stabilization and transfer services as needed.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  Requirements:
  
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Behavioral/Mental Health.
  • Current Louisiana RN License.
  • BLS and PALS certifications.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training.
