Merritt Hawkins is seeking a board-certified hematology/oncology physician on behalf of amission-driven, regional health system made up of more than 600 centers, including long-term care facilities, community hospitals, walk-in clinics, and health ministries.The hematology/oncology practice is located adjacent to the 241-bed hospitalwhich offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and employs over 1,600 associates and over 325 physicians in Louisiana.Opportunity Highlights

• Employed through an established healthsystem with a physician-led and physician-governed medical group
  
• Strong support staff, dedicated nursing team in the infusion suite, and three NPs who take first call
  
• Scope of practice is 80% oncologywith the majority of casesbeing solid tumors of the breast, colon, lung, and prostate
