We arelooking for a dedicated Registered Nurse like you to be a part of our team. TheLife of an HCA Nurse Cath Lab nurses areexperts at providing compassionate care and preparing patients undergoingvarious cardiac procedures such as catheterization and angioplasty. They havehigh-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able tostay calm under pressure. Aboutthis unit:
  • Procedures done in the cath lab range from but notlimited to diagnostic heart caths, interventional heart caths, TAVR, TMVR,pacemakers and coronaries.
  • Opportunity to work 1:1 with patients, there is one RNfor every procedure
  • Call is evenly distributed between staff. Responsibilities:
    • Under the general direction of the Director,Manager or Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates andprovides patient care and assumes individual responsibility andaccountability for the provision of nursing care.
      Qualifications What QualificationsYou Will Need:
      • Graduation from anaccredited School of Nursing
      • Current Louisiana or CompactRN license required
      • ACLS certificationrequired within 6 months of employment.
      • Excellent interpersonaland team skills required. Basic computer knowledge preferred
      • Minimum of one yearnursing experience in an ICU or ER setting required
      • Previous cardiovascularlab experience preferred
