The Aquatics Director is a key leadership role at the Pocono Family YMCA, responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive aquatic program. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this position ensures high-quality, safe, and mission-aligned programming that serves members of all ages. The Director oversees aquatics staff, maintains compliance with safety regulations, supports community engagement, and fosters youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility through aquatics.Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in aquaticsCurrent certifications: YMCA Lifeguard, CPR, and First AidActively working toward YMCA Leader CertificationStrong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skillsAbility to pass all required background checks and screeningsExperience managing swim team programs and lifeguard trainingKnowledge of pool chemical management and safety regulationsPrevious experience with budgeting and schedulingStrong communication skills for staff, community, and board interaction
