Job Description:

DescriptionThe Learning and Development Coordinator supports the team in the delivery of programs within the Learning and Development content area. This position coordinates activities for the assigned team for all Learning and Development work in progress to ensure effective program implementation and integration. This role coordinates the logistics and schedules for the delivery of Associate development and training programs that support the team's strategic plan. The Associate schedules meetings, sessions, events, etc. and ensures that rooms are equipped with the necessary supplies and equipment. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESSystem CoordinationManage all logistics for CHRISTUS Learning and Development programs and administrative functions to support Talent Management Consultants by understanding programs' purpose and outcomes, reviewing or developing a plan to execute the program, and enlisting the required resources (e.g., facilities, people, and materials).Maintain HR Information by validating and updating relevant Associate databases to ensure program and enrollment data is correct.Maintain records of training activities and Associate progress and monitoring effectiveness of multiple L & D programs.Provide reports/metrics to meet Learning Impact requirements.Coordinate schedules, events, sessions, meals, rooms, etc. Ensuring that rooms are equipped with necessary supplies and equipment.Define boundaries, set priorities, plan and manage multiple projects and service requests. Develop detailed project schedules for all assigned projects and service requests.Assist customers with developing and deploy moderately complex education reports from the Learning Management System.Contact vendors regarding service issues to receive support information or assistance as instructed by the manager (for assigned applications).Maintain increasing technical knowledge of assigned applications such as learning management, authoring, multimedia, etc.Ensure the teams have the appropriate tools and resources to be effective and meet program requirements.Perform administrator-level functions using the Leadership Development and Learning portal and Learning Management System. Functions include assessments, assignments, reporting, testing, and support.Order necessary supplies for Talent Management Consultants to facilitate all Learning and Development programs.GeneralDemonstrate strong communication and human relationship skills.Maintain and demonstrate good teamwork on assigned projects through actions and job performance.Provide effective customer service by being courteous, polite and friendly at all times. Acknowledge customers timely in order to determine their need and help the customer resolve the issue or request. Participate in departmental programs that promote and deliver exceptional customer service. Ensuring the services that he/she provides contribute to the successful accomplishment of the primary mission of the department.Pursue professional growth and development through personal reading, seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the trends in his/her field of expertise.Responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation of and post-implementation support of strategies that will further the organization's business and healthcare delivery success.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Manager of Learning and Development.RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED requiredAssociate's degree or equivalent training and experience preferred3-5 years of experienceExperience with a Learning Management System, preferredAbility to make decisions independently based on standard policies and operating proceduresHighly proficient organizational, presentation, and oral and written communication skillsHigh ability to multi-task and prioritize workHighly Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
