Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
psychologist position is available for work primarily on-site with
an option for a hybrid schedule, allowing one day per week to work
from home. The role supports K-12 students across multiple schools
in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, including elementary and specialized
academies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments
and evaluations for a caseload of approximately 15 students.
Provide counseling and interventions to support students academic,
emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with teachers,
administrators, and families to develop effective individualized
education plans (IEPs). Participate in team meetings and contribute
to multidisciplinary approaches for student success. Ensure
compliance with district policies, including background checks and
fingerprinting requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Valid
Educator Certification with necessary credentialing to practice as
a school psychologist. Experience serving K-12 student populations,
ideally with 0-10 years in school psychology roles. Ability to
manage a caseload efficiently and deliver evidenced-based
psychological services. Flexibility to work full-time (35 hours) or
part-time (15-20 hours over 2-3 days per week). Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse school
settings. Location and Schedule: Position is based in Baton Rouge,
LA with assignments at Shenandoah Elementary, Cedarcrest-Southmoor
Elementary, and Helix Aviation Academy. Start date is ASAP with
contract duration through mid-May 2026. The districts process
involves creating purchase orders per placement, which may result
