This position is: Full Time Position Location: Lake Charles, LA JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: A Medical Assistant is needed to provide office duties in a medical office setting. Duties include: Vital signs Rooming patients Prescription refills Lab and imaging order entry EMR data entry Telephone triage REQUIREMENTS: National medical assistant certification required. Non-certified medical assistants must have at least two years of medical office experience in order to qualify. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. This position requires the ability to work between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
