Generac dealer in Louisiana and have received the Generac Service
Award twice in the last four years . As demand for reliable backup
power continues to grow, we are expanding our Service & Maintenance
Team in our Baton Rouge location. Our technicians take pride in
delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service while

field are key to our team's success. Position Summary As a Service
Technician , you will play a vital role in ensuring customers'
standby generator systems operate reliably when they are needed
most. Working independently in the field, you will perform
preventative maintenance, diagnose system issues, and keep
equipment operating at peak performance. Optimize Generator People
provides hands-on training and digital workflow onboarding , making
this an excellent opportunity for candidates who are eager to grow
their technical skills-even if they are newer to generator systems.
This position offers the opportunity to combine technical
troubleshooting, customer interaction, and career growth with
Louisiana's leading Generac dealer. Core Responsibilities Perform
seasonal preventative maintenance on standby generator systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues (DC/AC
systems) Interpret wiring schematics and troubleshoot system fault
codes Test and operate Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) Document
service work using company mobile applications and devices Maintain
service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment cleanliness
Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after
service visits Follow company safety procedures and operational
standards Work independently and efficiently while representing the

needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of generator or small engine
maintenance experience preferred Valid driver's license with an
acceptable driving record Ability to operate hand tools and power
tools safely Basic understanding of electrical systems and
schematics Comfortable using mobile devices and digital service
applications Training & Certifications Generac Air-Cooled and
Liquid-Cooled certifications are beneficial but not required
Company-provided onboarding includes: Safety training Hands-on
technical training Digital workflow and service documentation
training Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-60 pounds Ability
to climb ladders up to 10 feet Frequent standing, kneeling,
crouching, and bending Daily driving between job sites Ability to
work outdoors in varying weather conditions Compensation details:
