Description 4LEAF, Inc. (4LEAF) is recruiting Principal Planners to oversee consulting contract work throughout California. This position requires the knowledge of, and participation in, highly complex professional planning activities. Planners at this level are expected to exercise complete independence and judgment, receive general supervision, and report to an organization’s senior management. The Principal Planner may supervise department staff consistent with the needs of an organization. Functions - Perform and manage complex and sensitive professional planning projects, research, and analysis - Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws - Oversee specialized planning functions such as large-scale new development proposals and environmental studies (including CEQA) - Provide overall management of division-related planning issues - Advise the Planning Director on all planning-related matters - Advise various councils, boards, commissions, and elected officials in planning-related issues - Serve as a liaison and perform all necessary functions in support of Planning Commission - Prepare assessment reports on organizational operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications - Attend evening and weekend meetings as needed Compensation details: 54.9-75.53 Hourly Wage PI04af6d136415-37156-38361693
